Baskonia outclassed Maccabi at home 116:87 in the sixth round of the Euroleague, so now both teams have a score of 4-2. In Vitoria, the home team already had +22 at the beginning of the second quarter. A much more uncertain match was expected, but Baskonia left Maccabi without any chance with their phenomenal attacking play. Marcus Howard was the best with 23 points (4-4 for two, 4-10 for three), Darius Thompson had 15 points and 8 assists, and Mike Kotsar scored 18 points (7-19 from the field).

Vanja Marinković scored 14 points (2-2 for two, 3-6 for three in 18 minutes), 4 rebounds and 2 assists, and Rokas Gidraitis added 13 points. For Maccabi, Lorenzo Brown was the most effective with 20 points (9-17 from the field, 2sk, 2ast), and Josh Niebo had 16 points (7-10 from the field) and 5 rebounds. 

Real Madrid got their third victory this season, over Armani in Milan with 83:77. Until the end of the third period, it seemed that we would have an uncertain match until the very end, but then Real stepped up, especially in defense. From the score of 63:61, they came with a run of 12:2 to 75:63 – the series was started by Yabusele with a three-pointer, five points were given by Musa, and a three-pointer was added by a cheerful Hezonja.

Messina’s team did not give up until the end, but they failed to lead the match to an uncertain ending, so Real achieved an important victory, after somewhat weaker games in the Euroleague this season. Dzhanan Moussa shined with 25 points (4-4 for two, 5-8 for three) and 5 rebounds and assists each, and Mario Hezonja played his match of the season so far with 15 points (6-8 from the field), while Eddie Tavares had 11 points and 9 rebounds.

Kevin Pengos was the best for the home team with 21 points (2-3 for two, 5-9 from the field), Niccolò Melli had 12 points and 3 rebounds, and Mitrou-Long added 11.  

Partizan basketball players beat Panathinaikos away 91:89 and now have a score of 3-3 in the Euroleague. It is the third consecutive triumph of the black and white. On the other hand, Dejan Radonjić’s team has only one win in six rounds, over Red Star in Belgrade.The match started fantastically for Obradović’s team on the wings especially with Kevin Panter, who scored 20 points by halftime.

At one point, the black and whites had an 18 point lead, excellent ball flow in the attack, along with stolen balls and points from the counter. Kevin Panter shined with 29 points (4-9 for two, 6-8 for three) and 4 assists, Matias Lessor had 15 points (5-7 from the field) and 11 rebounds, Zack Leday recorded 13 points (5- 14 from the game) and 10 rebounds, and Danilo Anđušić also scored in double figures with 10 points (2-4 from the game), Jam Madar also with 10 and Dante Exum with 12 points (5-7 from the game).

At Panathinaikos, Nate Walters was the best with 17 points (7-10 from the field), 3 rebounds and 4 assists, and Dwayne Bacon also had 17 points, although with a much higher consumption of the ball – only 4-15 from the field. Derrick Williams had 14 points and 7 rebounds, Ponitka had 12, and Papagiannis had 10 points. In the next round, Partizan visits Olympiakos next Thursday, while PAO welcomes Baskonia a day later. 

Bayern defeated Efes with 81:78 and finally registered the first triumph of this season in EL. After an uncertain thirty minutes, with consecutive three-pointers by Obst and Winston, Bayern took a seven-point advantage, and then the home team scored a penalty, primarily through Harris, and took the lead with 77:67

The European champion did not give up, and after five tied points by Micić, the score was 77:74. Bayern missed a lot of opportunities, so that Clyburn reduced the lead to 80:78 in 26 seconds. Efes had two shots for overtime at -3, but Clyburn and Micić missed, so Bayern got their first victory in the Euroleague this season.

Cassius Winston was the most effective with 16 points (6-16 from the field), with 4 rebounds and 7 assists, and Isak Bonga had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Vladimir Lučić scored 9 points (4-12 from the field, 4th), and Ognjen Jaramaz did not shoot at the basket in seven minutes.

At Efes, Vasilije Micić was the best with 24 points (1-4 for two, 4-10 for three), 5 rebounds and 4 assists, along with 4 turnovers, Will Clyburn scored 21 points (7-15 from the field), and Ante Žižić 11.
