EUROCUP 2021/22 ROSTERS
Eurocup Rosters 2021/22 are almost formed. We bring you a list of reinforcements for all clubs. We expect a very interesting fight for placement in the Euroleague.
Boulogne Metropolitans
The team from Paris brought a solid number of players this summer. Will Cummings (12.0 pts, 2.5 assists), Keith Hornsby (14.4 pts, 50.9% three-point accuracy), Bandja Sy (4.9 pts) arrived at the club. Steeve Ho You Fat (8.9 pts, 5.1 rebounds) and Vince Hunter (9.8 pts) also arrived in Paris. Former NBA champion Jordan McRae also arrived in Boulogne. The coach will be Vincent Collet, the current coach of France.
Buducnost Voli
As for the current vice-champion of the ABA league, Vladimir Micov (6.1 pts) has returned to the club. Marko Jagodic Kuridza (4.4 pts) and DJ Seeley (8.1 pts) are coming from two Euroleague teams, Red Star and Bayern. Edin Atic (10.2 pts, 4.4 rebounds), Jacob Wiley (10.6 pts, 6.0 rebounds) and Igor Drobnjak (12.6 pts, 4.6 rebounds) are also arriving in Podgorica. The club will again be led by Aleksandar Dzikic.
Cedevita Olimpija
The ABA league will also be represented by Cedevita Olimpija. Jacob Pullen (17.7 pts, 42.5% three-point shooting) came to Ljubljana again. Melvin Ejim (11.5 pts, 5.8 rebounds) and Marko Radovanovic (6.4 pts), and Jackie Carmichael (8.4 pts, 3.8 rebounds) are also coming from the Adriatic League. Two more Americans Zach Auguste (4.6 pts) and Marcus Keene (20.0 pts, 5.0 assists) came to the club. Like last season, the team is led by Jurica Golemac.
Dolomiti Energia Trentino
As for the Trentino team, Johnathan Williams III and Cameron Reynolds arrived at the club from the NBA. Wesley Saunders arrived from Fortitude (13.3 pts, 3.9 rebounds). Jordan Caroline (28.0 pts, 14.4 rebounds) and Desonta Bradford (10.5 pts, 3.9 rebounds) also joined the club. Emanuele Molin has been coaching the team since February this year.
Bursaspor
The team that debuted in the Eurocup last year brought almost a whole new team. Omer Al (7.5 pts, 3.4 assists), Egemen Guven (10.9 pts, 6.8 assists), Tarik Sezgun (10.8 pts, 6.1 rebounds) arrived at the club from the Turkish league. Several Americans also arrived in Bursa. They are David Dzudzinski (9.6 pts, 5.5 rebounds), Kevarrius Hayes (3 pts), Derek Needham (7.7 pts, 5.1 assists). Allerik Freeman (7.4 pts) also returned to the club. Marlain Veal (6.5 pts, 4.0 assists) and Dragan Milosavljevic (8.3 pts) also came to Turkey. The coach of the team is Dusan Alimpijevic.
Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria has mostly strengthened with players from the Spanish league. Dylan Ennis (15.7 pts) and Nicolas Brussino (11.0 pts, 3.6 rebounds) arrived from Zaragoza. Artem Pustovyi (2.8 pts), Miquel Salvo (5.7 pts), Ilimane Diop (3.1 pts) also arrived at the club. Javi Lopez (11.2 pts) was transferred from the other team. Chris Kramer (8.8 pts) arrived in the Canary Islands from Israel. The team is led by Porfi Fisac.
Hamburg Towers
Hamburg is making its Eurocup debut this season. The German club brought a lot of players to do better in their debut season. Several Americans arrived at the club. Jaylon Brown (12.2 pts) and his last name Zach (17.1 pts, 4.3 rebounds) came along. Jabril Durham (12.0 pts, 6.3 assists) and Seth Hinrichs (7.8 pts, 5.3 rebounds) also arrived in Hamburg. Robin Christen (7.7 pts, 3.8 rebounds), Eddy Edgin (8.6 pts, 5.5 rebounds), Lukas Meisner (14.4 pts, 4.6 rebounds) were also brought. Caleb Homesley (9.3 pts, 4.1 rebounds) arrived from the NBA Development League. The team is led by Pedro Calles.
Joventut Badalona
Joventut is playing in the Eurocup for the second consecutive season. Several players arrived in Badalona. Andres Feliz (18.9 pts, 4.5 rebounds), Guillem Vives (4.5 pts), Derek Willis (10.7 pts, 8.1 rebounds) were brought in. Brandon Paul returned to the club (13.7 pts, 4.9 rebounds). Carles Duran is coach of thre team from Badalona.
Lietkabelis
As for the Lithuanian representative, they also strengthened with several players this summer. Nikola Radicevic (9.6 pts, 5.3 assists) arrived at the club, followed by the surnames Dovydas (6.4 pts) and Karolis (8.2 pts) Giedraitis. Kaspars Berzins (11.7 pts, 4.7 rebounds), Grantas Vasiliauskas (4.5 pts), Panagiotis Kalaitzakis (7.5 pts, 4.1 rebounds) also arrived from the Lithuanian league. The team is coached by Nenad Canak.
Lokomotiv Kuban
Lokomotiv Kuban always has high ambitions in this competition. The former champion of this competition Stanton Kidd (12.6 pts, 4.0 rebounds) arrived at the club this summer. Three other Americans arrived next to him. Errick McCollum (11.6 pts), one of the best scorers of this competition, came to the Kuban. Next to him, there are also Johnathan Motley (20.7 pts, 8.9 rebounds), Darius Thompson (12.1 pts, 5.3 assists). Greg Whittington, who played just four games for the Denver Nuggets, returned to Europe from the NBA. The Russian team is still led by Evgeny Pashutin.
Bourg Basket
This season we will have the opportunity to watch Bourg again in the Eurocup. A lot of players arrived at the French club this summer. From the French league came Alex Julien (11.8 pts, 4.7 assists), Maxime Roos (4.5 pts), and Tyler Stone (12.8 pts, 4.8 rebounds). Eric Mika (6.3, pts, 3.7 rebounds), CJ Harris (15.0 pts, 4.1 assists), Rasheed Sulaimon (8.0 pts), and JaCorey Williams (15.0 pts, 7.4 rebounds) also joined the club. Laurent Legname leads the team.
Andorra
When it comes to Andorra, a solid number of players arrived at the club this summer. Of the players from the Spanish league came young Mario Nakic (8.4 pts, 56.7% three-point shooting), Conor Morgan (8.9 pts, 3.3 rebounds). Also arriving in Andorra was Drew Crawford (12.1 pts, 5.3 rebounds), Codi Miller-McIntyre (13.1 pts, 4.5 assists), and Amine Noua (5.0 pts). Ibon Navarro lead the team.
Partizan NIS Belgrade
Partizan has the most ambitious project of all the teams in the Eurocup. Almost a whole new team was brought in. The celebrated Zeljko Obradovic returned to the bench. Alen Smailagic (2.0 pts) and Rodions Kurucs (6.0 pts) returned from the NBA. Dallas Moore (27.4 pts, 5.7 assists) came from China. Kevin Punter (14.3 pts) and Zach LeDay (10.0 pts, 4.5 rebounds) came from last year’s finalist for the Euroleague, Olimpia Milano. Among the reinforcements are Aleksa Avramovic (16.4 pts, 3.5 assists), Yam Madar (17.1 pts, 40.9% three-point shooting).
Promitheas Patras
Promitheas also brought in a lot of players this summer. Abdul Gaddy (8.8 pts, 5.6 assists) and Isaiah Miles (12.1 pts, 42.9% three-point shooting) arrived at the club from Israel. Nikos Gkikas (6.9 pts) and Nikos Rogkavopoulos (5.0 pts) arrived from Aek. Dario Hunt (10.1 pts, 5.6 rebounds) and Kendrick Ray (15.0 pts, 4.4 assists) also joined the Greek club. As of this summer, the Greek representative has been coached by Luis Casimiro.
Ratiopharm Ulm
As for Ulm, several players from the NBA came to the team this summer. Semaj Christon (17.6 pts, 8.0 assists), Cristiano Felicio (4.3 pts) came. Jaron Blossomgame (18.5 pts, 6.5 rebounds) arrived from Israel. Fedor Zugic (5.3 pts) also came. Jaka Lakovic is the coach of the team.
Slask Wroclaw
As for the debutant in the Eurocup, they also strengthened this summer. Lukasz Kolenda (11.4 pts, 3.8 assists) and Jakub Karolak (8.3 pts, 3.6 rebounds) arrived from the Polish league. They also brought two Americans. Justin Bibbs (16.3 pts, 4.7 rebounds) and Kodi Justice (9.9 pts) came to Wroclaw. Cyril Langevine (14.3 pts, 11.9 rebounds) and Kerem Kanter (17.9 pts, 7.5 rebounds) also joined the Polish team. The team will be led by Petar Mijovic, former coach of Buducnost.
Turk Telekom
The Turkish representative brought the entire team ready this summer. Andrew Andrews (16.1 pts, 3.5 assists) and Berk Demir (7.3 pts, 4.2 rebounds) arrived in Ankara from Darussafaka. Octavius Ellis (5.9 pts) and Aaron Harrison (6.5 pts) came from Olympiacos. JaJuan Johnson (4.3 pts) came from Bayern. Alex Perez (1.1 pts), Dorukhan Engindeniz (6.4 pts), and Can Ogut (9.6 pts, 6.6 assists) were brought in. The team from the bench is led by Burak Goren.
Venezia
As for the team from the city known for carnival, film, and gondolas, several players came this summer. Jeff Brooks (2.1 pts) arrived from Milano and Victor Sanders (10.1 pts) from Trento. Martynas Echodas (11.7 pts, 6.6 rebounds) and Vasileios Charalampopoulos (2.5 pts) also came. Tariq Phillip (11.6 pts, 4.1 assists) and Michele Vitali (9.7 pts) also arrived. The team is still coached by Walter De Raffaele.
Valencia
The multiple champions of this competition this summer brought several reinforcements. Victor Claver (2.3 pts) returned to the club. From Joventut came Nenad Dimitrijevic (12.9 pts, 3.6 assists) and Xabi Lopez-Arostegui (12.3 pts, 40% three-point shooting). Jasiel Rivero also came (12.2 pts, 5.6 rebounds). From this season the team will be led by Joan Penarroya who arrived from Burgos.
Virtus Bologna
The team from Bologna is again one of the candidates to win this competition. From this season, they will be coached by the celebrated coach of Spain, Sergio Scariolo. The team came from the USA, Nico Mannion (4.1 pts) and Ty-Shon Alexander (9.3 pts). Ekpe Udoh (6.8 pts) will play in Europe again. Michele Ruzzier (8.9 pts) arrived from the Italian league. Arrived Mouhammadou Jaiteh (16.7 pts, 10.8 rebounds) as well as Kevin Hervey (12.4 pts, 6.9 rebounds).
