Serbia defeated France in the last round

In the winning team, Yvonne Anderson scored 18 points with 6 assists. Jovana Nogic added 17 points. Tina Krajisnik had a performance of 12 points and 13 rebounds. In the defeated team, Alexia Chartereau was the best with 16 points. Serbia was unlucky in the draw and will play against the USA in the quarterfinals of the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
Another convincing victory for USA
The American women recorded another convincing victory in the last round, defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 121-59. Kelsey Plum scored 20 points with 7 assists. France did better in the draw and will play against the Chinese women. China convincingly defeated Belgium 81-55 in the last round. Li Meng scored 16 points in the winning team. In the mentioned duel, China is the favorite, and we will see what kind of resistance the French women can offer. Belgium will fight against Australia to advance to the semi-finals and repeat the success of the last championship. The host of the tournament is the favorite, but the fighting Belgians should definitely not be written off.
Canada and Puerto Rico will play in the last pair of quarterfinals. In the last round, Canada defeated Mali 88-65 with as many as 27 points from Bridget Carleton. Kayla Alexander added 19 points and even 14 rebounds. Puerto Rico qualified for the quarterfinals with a convincing win against South Korea. The question of the winner was solved by Puerto Rico already in the first quarter when it led with an unreal 18-0. Mya Hollingshed had a performance of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Canada should justify the role of favorite in this match. The victory guarantees them a fight for at least the bronze medal.
